Pacific Nautilus
Pacific Nautilus is an organization committed to helping minority and community college students who are interested in developing, improving and polishing their engineering and science skills through real world engineering projects centered around robotics and autonomous vehicles. We work with cutting edge technology that offers cross platform student development in STEM disciplines, business, marketing, accounting and more. Our previous vehicles have consisted of off the shelf products which made for an affordable, reliable and waterproof structure. Last year we created a new custom acrylic hull using vertical and horizontal wings with a reduced area nose cone to take advantage of hydrodynamic properties such as laminar flow. This design also features redundant water-tight seals to protect the custom control board and custom H-bridge.
MRO
Mesa Robotics Organization is a community of eager learners applying their knowledge to robotics applications through projects for competitions and research. Most of the members and affiliates are students and professionals of computer science and engineering. We have grown from a small group of students programming a simulation of a robot to several groups of people with a growing amount of resources preparing advanced robots for international competitions.
